Some five nights at freddy’s fanart. Originally I was going to make a comic but while mulling over the plot while at my job I realized the plushies coming to life would work better with an original plot. ( Plus it won’t seem dated if I release it a few months from now when the fnaf fandom has quieted down. ) So this is the first, and last, piece of fnaf fanart I’ll be making with chica and foxy. Emma and Emi will be in my original horror comics though if I ever decide to share them. ^^ Drawn on my samsung galaxy note 10.1 in artflow with a wacom bamboo feel pen.
Some fanart of Disney's TV Animated Series 'Gravity Falls' of the supporting character Robbie V. Here's a quick process post to show how I did it, since I don't have any original series artwork to upload today. :)
Winsor and Azeria talk in the hall of his manor. A little silly scene I thought up to practice drawing in a new style. I definitely want to look at a coloring tutorial after this. The background is somewhat traced using the pen tool from a photo.
Responding a to post on tumblr showing how amazing people get after ten years of practice. Lots of people started off bad and became amazing, but I'd like to remind everyone even with dedicated practice results may vary. Maybe that makes me a jerk, but some of us are destined to be like those laughable American Idol contestants, unaware of own not only lack of ability but crippling handicap until it's far too late and we're being booed off stage. Drawing for your own pleasure is great, but there's no guarantee that you will have enough raw ability to ever move beyond the basics.
Also, a lot of the artists used something they drew in ten minutes on printer paper from the past compared to something they spent hours and digital clean up and color on recently, which is already compared apples to oranges. Though that does send a message about patience, which is a positive spin on it all.
Pages 7 and 8 are up. It's been about two months since I've updated this story, which is silly since they've been sitting 90% finished on my computer since April. Ah, one of the characters in the crowd shot had a tentacle instead of an arm because I got so frustrated trying to draw the arm.
The first page is nice, but it's sort of hard to read so I threw in the arrow. Though I think the arrow just makes it more confusing, at least it looks cool! :D
Artwork for RPGMaker Forum user Dj Pon. He asked me to leave the text off so he could add it himself. This was my first time using linked files in Illustrator, made it a lot faster then trying to make all of it in Photoshop.
Worked on these today, one was pretty developed already ( the stylized one), while the other I just finished the underpainting ( the more realistically proportioned monochrome one. ) I hung up a finished painting of one of the cats today but nobody's commented on yet. Not sure if they've noticed. >>
